At Medvoucher, your only cost is the price of your purchased healthcare voucher! We partner with trusted local providers to offer quality healthcare at upfront, transparent prices. All services are listed at the price you pay. For surgeries and procedures, the costs listed are bundled to include related fees so you pay one price with no surprise bills after your appointment.

  4. Can I be refunded if my provider decides a pre-purchased voucher is not necessary?
    Every voucher is backed by the Medvoucher Promise: If you do not receive care for your purchased procedure, we will refund your payment in full. Important Note: For some vouchers, if you see the provider but do not undergo the procedure, a consult fee may still be charged. This most commonly occurs in cases when a procedure cannot be performed due to failure to follow the doctor's preparation instructions. The fee helps offset the cost of the space, equipment, and staff reserved for your procedure, even if it cannot be performed.

  5. Are there additional fees associated with purchasing a voucher?
    At Medvoucher, we do our best to include all related fees in the purchase of a voucher. However, if you require additional treatment at the time of service that is not included in the description of your original voucher, you may be responsible for additional fees or charges.

  7. How do I use my voucher?
    Simply let your provider know you purchased a service or product from Medvoucher when scheduling. At the time of your appointment, just present your voucher (paper copy or from your mobile application) to the receptionist at check-in. They will take down the needed information and redeem your voucher. It's that easy!

  9. How do I change the email or password on my account?
    (1) Log in to your Medvoucher account. (2) Click the "Edit Details" link, next to Personal and Account Information. (3) Change your email address or password on the following page. (4) Press the "Save" button at the bottom of the page to confirm your changes.

  10. Is Medvoucher an insurance company?
    Medvoucher is not an insurance company. Medvoucher is a company that provides an online and mobile healthcare e-commerce platform where you can search for healthcare services and offerings from local providers, at discounted prices. All Medvoucher services and products purchased are prepaid. Therefore, neither Medvoucher nor your provider file a claim with your insurance company. However, Medvoucher purchases may count towards your deductible - check with your insurance company for eligibility requirements.

  11. How do I search for a voucher?
    It's simple. Just search for your desired healthcare service or product on our homepage or Marketplace, select the chosen voucher, and purchase! Next, simply call the provider associated with the advertised voucher, schedule an appointment, and redeem the voucher at your appointment.

    You may be able to apply Medvoucher purchases to your deductible. Eligibility is determined by your insurance company and depends on your plan. Access your Medvoucher purchase history at any time to support deductible submissions.

    At Medvoucher, we believe in providing complete transparency. This is why we show the name and location of each facility to patients prior to purchasing the voucher. We encourage potential patients to check Health Grades, Google reviews, and other online resources prior to purchasing a healthcare service or product.

    Our Marketplace "search" returns results for providers within a 250-mile radius of your zip code. If you are willing to travel, scroll through the search results to find nearest physicians. If you don't see a provider in your area offering a service or product that you need, contact us and our representative can reach out to local providers.

    Payments are made automatically, through EFT. Simply input your practice’s account information and you will receive payment on the 15th of each month for all services rendered in the month prior.

    No! There are no financial risks or up front payments made to Medvoucher. Medvoucher receives a commission for services purchased and redeemed through our platform.

  8. What are the benefits of using Medvoucher for my practice?
    Medvoucher offers transparent and competitive pricing to self-pay and high-deductible patients. Additionally, Medvoucher can help circumvent the hurdles presented by traditional insurance carriers. For example, when a ligament injury is suspected, but an MRI will not be approved without failing outpatient physical therapy and steroid injections, providers can recommend patients use Medvoucher for early diagnosis of their injury. We can save your patients costly co-pays, out-of-pocket expenses, time, and reduce pain by expediting care that would otherwise be delayed or denied by insurance carriers.

  9. If no one buys my services, will I lose money?
    No! There are no upfront costs or fees to the provider. Medvoucher is only paid if a voucher offered is purchased AND redeemed. The payment is in the form of a commission, automatically deducted from the purchase price, so providers never make a payment to us!

  2. How do I make a purchase?
    It's easy. Simply select your desired voucher, add it to your cart, and complete the checkout process! If you are not currently signed in as a registered user, you will be prompted to create an account before completing your purchase.

  4. How do I use a promo code?
    At checkout, enter your promo code into the Promo Code box. That amount will be subtracted from your final charge. One promo code may be used per transaction, and each promo code is only valid for one use.

    MedVoucher is available to anyone paying out-of-pocket and looking to save money on his or her healthcare now. Currently, we do not accept Medicare or Medicaid patients.

  6. What is a Flexible Spending Account (FSA)?
    A Flexible Spending Account (FSA) is a special, tax-sheltered account that you can use to save for healthcare expenses. The money you put away in your FSA is deposited before taxes, and some employers who offer FSAs will match a percentage of your contribution. Check with your employer or insurance company to find out if you have an FSA as part of your health insurance and if your company contributes to it.

    We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal, and flexible spending account (FSA) cards. Currently, we do not accept Care Credit payments.

  8. Does my pre-paid voucher expire?
    Yes. Please note the expiration terms of your voucher when purchasing. Some vouchers are only offered for a limited time, to a limited number of patients. For this reason, we always encourage users to schedule appointments as soon as possible after purchasing a voucher. This said, the amount paid for the voucher does not expire and can be used towards a service or product from the provider where the original voucher was purchased.
